Everyday Love: Kelly & John

Most clients come to me with a clear vision for their engagement ring. John came with a wealth of ideas, all centred around one defining theme that complemented Kelly’s vision - a chunky yellow gold engagement ring with a square-cut diamond. He stayed open-minded throughout the process, which is my favourite way to work, as it allows creativity to fully unfold.

With that foundation, I designed three variations. He ultimately chose a bezel and compass claw-set diamond paired with a beautiful double band - a design that felt completely and unmistakably Kelly. There’s something incredibly special about creating a piece that so perfectly reflects the wearer’s personality and style. After their engagement, they even began a tradition of kissing the ring before bed - a small, meaningful ritual for good luck.
